Our opening hours and fees
We believe the transition to life outside home and into a school environment is incredibly important. This starts with Adventure Time allowing parents and carers to come into the Nursery alongside their child. This forges a great start to regularly attending the Nursery on a flexible basis, be it mornings, afternoons or full days.

Fees
Hours in excess of 15 or 30* per week
£7.80 per hour up until the term after turning 3. £5.50 per hour thereafter.

* enhanced facilities includes woodland adventures, pond dipping and animals amongst other activities and a high staff: child ratio
Home Visits
Prior to your child starting at the Nursery, we are happy for a member of staff to visit your child at home if you feel this would be helpful in helping him/her to settle. Please let us know if you would like a visit to be arranged.
Admissions
How does it work?
If you wish your child to join Heather Rabbit they must first join the waiting list. This entails completing a waiting list application form and paying a deposit of £85 for the Nursery, plus £15 should you wish your child to attend our Adventure Time sessions. £20.00 of the Nursery deposit is non-refundable unless we are unable to offer you a minimum of 2 mornings or afternoons per week from the term following your child’s third birthday.
Whilst we will, of course, do our best to accommodate your requirements the timing of attendance will be at our discretion. During the term prior to your child joining the nursery we will contact you to advise which hours we able to offer.
The remaining £65 of the Nursery deposit will be deducted from the final term’s fees, provided that written notice of leaving is given, by a parent to Heather Rabbit, one full term prior to departure.

Parents, carers and children share the experience of exploring our nursery environment to make sure the transition to nursery life goes as smoothly as possible. In our secure, beautiful and homely surroundings the children, with their parents/carers will have fun and start to develop:

Adventure Time will awaken in your child an enduring love and curiosity for the natural world and the environment in which we live. Joining us at Adventure Time will give your child a taste of the activities on offer at Heather Rabbit Nursery and parents/carers will get a chance to meet the nursery staff.
Whilst you are welcome to bring younger siblings we regret that, due to numbers, we are unable to accommodate older siblings other than on an occasional basis (e.g. School Inset Days).
